Details
This billfish is often confused with white marlin. It can be identified by the distance of the anal vent to the distance of the anal fin. If the distance is long (6 inches on average) it is a Spearfish. If the distance is short, it is a white marlin.
How to Catch:
Trolling naked or skirted ballyhoo behind dredge teasers.
