Details

One of the smaller marlin, this species usually enters a spread in numbers. Multiplce hookups are quite common. A squirly fighter, the marlin will make many jumps before being landed.

How to Catch:

Mainly caught trolling ballyhoo far offshore. They are brought into the spread with spreader bars and dredges. Live bait can be used when a concentration of fish is found.
